As you may or may not know we have two temporary boys at the moment, Max and Woody, who we're hoping to rehome once they're fit enough to do so. Woodys our little wheeking machine but once he's been fed he'll make this burring sound every now and again whilst he's eating. It doesn't sound like a rumble, and the only time he makes this noise is when he's eating. He doesn't stop eating or look around when he's doing it, just every few seconds he'll do this little noise. Do you think it's some sort of warning to keep off his food or maybe a content noise that he's been fed? I've never heard any of our own tribe making this noise, I've obviously heard rumbling before but this doesn't sound like it :{

It sounds like from what your saying that he's just content and very happy. I have 2 girls and one boy and they all make a purring type noise when they're happy, especially when they're getting a cuddle from me. :)
