Well they say bad things happen in 3's, and last night I found baby Dally's sister, Dilly, in a bad way. I syringe fed her and kept her warm, but at 5 oclock this morning she was barely breathing and she passed away in my arms a while later.

Poor Agatha, that's 2 out of her 3 babies, only Dobby left now. I only have a pic of Dilly the day she was born:

But she had turned into such a pretty pig and was just getting her Sheltie fluff.

All I could think is that Dally was missing her too much and at least they're together now.

I really really hope that's my run of bad luck for now. 3 in a week is too much to bear.

Ooooohhhh nooooo not another little baby 8... 8... 8... 8... R.I.P. darling.
You are having such a sad time :( She maybe wanted to be with her little sister, I believe that some piggies find it too heartbreaking when one of their siblings/friends go :( Find some comfort that they are together again and lots of cuddles for their little brother - give him huge amounts of love :) You must be emotionally drained - keep strong for the others :)

I am so sorry sophie, how cruel for you to go thorough this.
R.i.p darling Dilly.
Have fun with your sister at the bridge and dont foget your mummy loves and misses you both soo much xxxxx

Sending lots of kisses to Agatha and Dobby, am thinking of you sophie at this sad time xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh Sophie. I saw the name and thought "Please don't say it's baby Dally's sister". I am so sorry for all of your losses. It doesn't bear thinking about. I hope you, and no-one else, ever has to suffer so much grief in such a short space of time. Huge *hugs* to you Sophie. Rest well, darling Dilly. xx

I can't believe that you & Agatha have lost another pig. You must both be devastated. I find it hard to cope with the loss of one pig & I can only imagine how you & Agatha must be feeling. 8...8...8...

The babies will be reunited together again running free over the bridge & will be cared for by the big pigs who have gone before them.

hugs & squeaks from my manly trio to you all

So sorry Sophie, run free sweetheart, popcorn over the rainbow bridge with all the other guineas that have gone recently.8...8...:(

Sophie you must be feeling emotionally exhausted - thinking of you at such a sad time.

All the years I've done rescue the death of any animal hits me very hard, it's not something I have ever "got used to" and I'm sure you feel the same. You have paid a heavy price indeed this week for loving these lovely little piggies, my heart goes out to you.

As the history of these piggies is unknown it is quite likely that there was a genetic problem which has displayed no symptoms. Comfort yourself in knowing that their short little lives were happy and loved.

Be kind to yourself this weekend and give yourself a break if you can x Love to you and all your piggies :)

Oh Sophie i'm just so saddened to hear about little Dilly 8...8...8...
