Runner bean foliage

We always used to feed runner bean leaves to my piggies when I was growing up, and they lived to a good age but I've not managed to find out now whether it's ok or not - so will be interested to know the answer too!

Mine eat runner bean leaves, kindly supplied by my neighbour from his veggie patch and I've never had any problems. Both my bunnies and piggies seem to love them :)

I will be very interested to know folks views on this.

I have never fed runner bean leaves to my lot as I didn't know if they were safe.
 
I give my girls bean foliage and they seem to enjoy it. Many years ago my guinea pigs broke out of their run and managed to nibble through the stems of all of my Dads French Bean plants - so I know they like those too:{
