I would like to tell you all that one of my baby guineas died yesterday morning,Tinsel completely unexpected as she had been fine the night before when i shut them up for bed, Her body was unmarked and there was no signs of a fight :(

It is especial sad as Carrie B was taking this baby Tinsel and her sister Pudding on the 24Th Feb to give them a life long home, I have asked her now not to take pudding as i am worried there may have been a genetic problem as Tinsel death was completely unexpectedly :( and don't want Carries to have to be worried in case pudding dies as well,

So anyway Carrie is now going to be looking for some more piggies on here.

Thank you it is sad but i think it is more sad for Carrie as this was to be her first venture into guineas and it has gone pear shaped before she has even acquired them :(
 
i am guessing this babies were born around christmas going by their names. it is so sad to hear tinsel's young life has come to an end :'( :'( :'(. guessing god wanted her back. hoping carrie can find some piggies. hoping pudding is fine. have you considered a post mortem on little tinsel? may you rest in peace sweet angel. now at peace and running free. watch over your mum and sister. until you meet again. No i am not going to do a PM as she has died end of story :-\, and nothing can change that, and although it would satisfy my curiosty,but i have no reason to do this as i don't breed so i do not have to worry about anything being passed down, and the mother has been rehomed to a friend of mine who is only interested in her as a pet so the blood line will not carry on,

I fostered the mother and these babies from another rescue so i don't actually no the history of this little crew,
 
i meant nothing by suggesting a post mortem, i only suggested it cause i thought maybe what she had may spread to your other piggies including pudding and mum. again i am sorry for your lost of little tinsel. :'( :'( :'( hoping pudding, mum and any others are well. :smitten: hoping carrie can find some piggies. i hope carrie does find some more guineas she likes, things like this can put people off.

sorry to hear of the loss and hope the other little one is ok *hug*
 
Some guinea pig deaths are unexpected unfortunately as in the wild they hide their illnesses and before we notice that our pet piggies are ill they die :'( Ive had quite a few sudden deaths and it is extremely dad :'( R.I.P baby 0:) :smitten:
 
Oh them, that is so sad! :'( Poor Tinsel. I hope Pudding wont be affected.
