Hi can piggies eat Salad Burnet only I've got some growing in my garden and I was wondering if they can eat it

I think it's a herb but I'm not sure. It can be used in salad's as it tastes a little like a mild cucumber

I've been brave or very foolish and popped a very small amount in their cage to see if they would eat it and they both gobbled it up as fast as they gobble up flat leaf parsley. As they are now pop corning all over the floor I'm guessing no harmful effects although I will monitor them over the next few days. I saw some in Wyevale Garden Centre in the herb section if anyone fancies trying their piggies on it :) or I think I've still got some seeds left somewhere I could post a handful to anyone who's interested although I would have to say that it self seeds quite a bit which is a pain

It's a rather less known herb from the rosaceae family, so in principle it should not be poisonous.
