so very very sorry :( Debbie has been an angel for Me and Leeland too as we are having eating and weight loss problems, she's been amazing with her advise. I'm sure with Debbie, Sampson was very very comfy and in good spirits before his hop to the bridge. Big hugs!

I'm so very sorry that you lost dear Sampson. I know how you feel at the moment having gone through it with Patch in May of this year.

I'm thinking of you and your family at this very sad time. RIP Sampson, popcorn free x

Thank you to everyone for being so kind. The children are confused and upset and it is all pretty horrible but we are all really grateful for the support.
Hope Debbie has finally got some sleep. Now I need to focus on looking after Gregory who must be lost without his friend.:(

Sampson's story also shows that sometimes quite vague, confusing symptoms can mean something more serious is wrong - piggies can hide illness so well. At least I know that he was lively and eating really well right up until last Friday night and Debbie cared for him so carefully over his last weekend.

I will tell Joanne from Milhaven as she nursed him back to health when he was first brought into rescue very underweight. He was such a character and we miss him.

I am giving Gregory lots of attention and cuddles, and he seems much brighter now. He looked very lost on Monday, after losing Sampson, but is eating well and stands up at the bars looking at the other piggies.

His trip home is now organised so it won't be long before he is back with his family. It just breaks my heart that one will not be returning.
