I've previously posted about my piggy Saphie and her new husboar Bertie who's a bit too frisky for her. Well I've had Saphie to the vets tonight because I noticed at weekend that her nipples seemed quite long (initially thought she had poo stuck to them, see photo). After looking on google, I was convinced she had ovarian cysts as there was a similar image. Well the vet doesn't seem to think it is as there's no other symptoms and she can't feel the ovaries at all. She has, however, suggested it might be hormonal (as it looks like when sows are pregnant) and this may be because of Berties constant pestering. She's told me to just keep an eye on her and suggested maybe keeping them next to each other but separated for a few days to give Saphie a break. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this as Bertie is not a happy bunny.

I can only echo what the vet has said, it could be due to Bertie. As long as their is no dried blood or crust around them then it's fine. Sorry I can't be of any more help! Xx
