Sapphire (Saphy)

Sapphire was a beautiful piggy we adopted about 7 months ago. She was an elderly piggy when we got her and had outlived her other cage mates.

There were a few difficulties introducing her to our herd but they soon learnt to accept her and she very happy and content with her new friends.

Saphy was a very bold little girl who wasn't shy of anything. Shortly after we introduced her she was sprawled out in the cage like she owned the place! As time went on she became closer and closer to the rest of the heard and was loving life. Sadly, she contacted a mystery illness a few weeks ago and despite our best efforts passed away over the weekend.

Sapphire enjoyed being cuddled and stroked providing you weren't on the move whilst she was in your arms! She also enjoyed snuggling up and going to sleep in her blanket.

Saphy loved her veggies with her favourites being lettuce and carrot.

We will miss you greatly and you will always have a special place in our hearts, little one.
