Sarah's foot is getting better. The meds helped some. But I changed her food to a alfala food. Bumped up her fruit and vegitables. Also giving her liquid vitamin c by mouth. The swelling is going down. She is able to walk again. And no longer screams in pain. When she got sick we were afraid we had to put her down. Thank god we didn't. But we got a new baby piggie. Right now they are in separate cages. Her quarantine is over. We introduced them last weekend. Sarah acts like she really dont care. She does nip her if the baby tries to crawl under her. ( Sarah Don't like her tummy touched )but when she nips the baby don't cry. So she isn't doing it hard. They play every day and seems to do ok. But the baby now screams when we take Sarah away. When we bring her back she stops. So is it ok to bring the both to the same cage now?

I also wanted to add. That she lost weight because of the meds. What food can I feed her to fatten her up again.

Just make sure she has a constant supply of hay, nuggets and some fresh veggies a few times throughout the day, this should help fatten her up again. If they seem happy together then it might be best to leave them together now, she will only nip the baby to tell her that she's not mum and she can't suckle, or hide under her.

Hope this helps x
