Hi all,
I didnt know where to put this pregnancy, health ect so i've popped it here...I'm sooo excited I saw Violets babies on ultrasound ;D :smitten: As you may know we thought we lost the babies on saturday and had to go to the bad vet :'( so today i took her to the good vet ;D who had a feel and then decided to do an ultrasound, there are at least two and I saw their spines, faces, little feet, they were kicking and moving really well and he says they are perfectly formed and ready to come out any day :smitten: He thinks the watery blood could be cystitis so she has very mild antibiotics. She was such a good girl and just lay in my hands the whole time, i'm grinning from ear to ear and telling anyone who will listen "guess what I just saw?" ;D :D Well i'm of to partition the C&C so Dillon (the big wimp) can still see Violet and hopefully we will have some minipigs soon.
Lots of Love
Sarah

Bless, would have loved to of seen that must of been amazing! :smitten: In humans water infections are common in pregnancy, so I assume it is the same for animals in that situation too. Plenty of water may help her too. I bet she looks huge, any pics?

So excited for you! x

ahhh that sounds beautiful bet you are over the moon :smitten: :smitten:, guess they dont give you a print out of scan like they do for humans :( :(

Aww thanks everyone, I wish I did have pics of the scan it was amazing their spines looked like little zips and their paws are perfectly formed with little toes :smitten: :smitten: I'll get a pic of Violet later I'm letting her rest at the moment but she really isnt very big at all. The seperation seems to be working I have Dillon on one side and Violet on the other and Ivy just doesnt care where she is ::) they are all eating and talking through the wire :smitten: I'm going to pop the baby moniter in so I can listen for suspisious noises and grunts ;D
Love
Sarah

OMG, what a fantastic experience for you. :smitten: :smitten:
Look forward to hearing about the new mini pigs soon. :)

Oh WOW! How fab!

Hopefully you will be present at the birth - if you've never seen a guinea pig delivery then prepare to be wiped out by it! I have cried at every delivery I've been present at (is that English?!?!?!) It truly is an awesome experience and I am just totally blown away by the fact that mummies just know exactly what to do.

Good luck, hoping all goes well O0

Thats great, I've been going through some past posts and had no idea the drama's you've gone through over the last few days. Can't wait to see pics of the bubs.

Not long now

Come on violet. :smitten:

Thanks guys, I keep checking on her evey hour, poor love I think she saying mum just leave me alone! Knowing Violet she is going to make me wait ;D I've had 3 pregnant girls before, one came to me pregnant and the other two when a rather adventourous boar of mine managed to somehow climb a 4ft fence to get into the girls pen, I witnessed two of the births and it is amazing :smitten: Poppy popped hers in the middle of the night and was so quiet the first thing I knew was an extra 3 pairs of beady eyes waiting for breakfast that morning :smitten:
Love
Sarah And the pigs ;D
