yesterday i put a little hedgehog plush toy in splodge and marmites hutch. they ran downstairs making a right racket and have camped downstairs since! silly piggles...

My boys have a guinea pig plushie. I often see them resting their heads and arms on it, cuddling the toy.

Maybe switch to a guinea pig?
