COVID-19 Schools reopening on 8th March

Our secondary is similar, my daughter's year go in from weds my son's Friday. The primary where I work back on Monday, we have been testing as staff twice a week since before half term, weird how it's sort of normal now, although am not looking forward to testing the children, they are at least old enough to do it themselves.

Piggy daddy was very nervous to be going back but not because of covid (he was vaccinated in January due to his evening job in care work with the elderly) just because its been so long since he was in the classroom! He survived, I think the biggest stress was remembering how to put on his tie... and realising how tight his smart trousers and top shirt button were after the Christmas holiday snack fest lasted until March lol :)

First day back was good. I was really happy to be back in my routine - who would have thought that eh! 😁 And back with a full classroom. Then again I’m in a different class to where I was last up to last week. I miss them but will learn a lot where I’m now placed.

My daughters were happy to be back to school as well. The youngest slept late last night (past 10!) but was awake by around 6:30!
