My gorgeous special boy Scottie passed away a short while ago. I took him to the emergency vets on Sunday with a suspected respiratory infection and weight loss. Unfortunately the vet detected an adrenal tumour. Scottie was lively and eating well this afternoon but when I got up at 11:30 to give him his antibiotic he had rapidly declined.
This lovely boy came to me in December with his companion Ronnie. Their ages were estimated to be at least three years old but their history was sketchy. They had two failed families.
I already had two sets of boys but when I saw them on the rescue website I was instantly besotted with them. I was on a mission to spoil them and give them the very best life they could possibly have. I’m gutted that for Scottie his time was cut short but comforted to know he was well looked after for the past three months and the time he spent at the rescue
He passed peacefully with Ronnie by his side. I have emailed the rescue and hopefully will find Ronnie a friend soon. Ronnie and Scottie has such a strong bond , slept in the same hidey and were never more than a few inches apart even during run time
I am so blessed to have met this little fellow
RIP sweetheart
