I have taken my boar to the vet for a sebaceous cyst near his grease gland.
He says it needs surgically removing or it will keep coming back. It's the size of a hazelnut.
It's going to cost £250. Is this about right?

That sounds a bit excessive, it's a simple procedure usually. I would ask around, but make sure the vets are experienced in giving anaesthesia to piggies

Our new piggy Maurice had a cyst removed at the start of December, our vets is known to be quite pricy and that came to £130 the first time 🙄 then X that by 3 because he kept pulling his stitches out 😖 we are lucky to have beans to eat this January lol

Oh no! I hadn't envisaged any of this when we adopted Eric...he has a friend that lives with him as well. My pension better come soon ...my grandson loves them both.
