sorry i cant seem to find the thread. i really want to send a present to a rescue this year as i missed the last two years. i was wondering where the thread is to sign up and if someone could talk me through the steps. how much is normally spent? i have a limit because its my pocket money as that was the deal with my parents. sorry to post a thread but i didnt want to miss it again :)

There is a list of things that rescues most want at the beginning of the thread. Vicky will try to match you up with a rescue piggy and pm you the name of the guinea pig and its rescue.

For more specific info, you can always look up the rescue's website once you have been assigned one. Most people send a mix of cosies, toys, treats and useful things; some rescues have thier own wishlists. http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=77375

If you do a search for secret Santa (search is on the top bar), you should find last year's thread with pictures of the rescue piggies and their parcels.
 
Also, can I just add, you can spend as much or as little as you like. If you're spending pocket money and don't have much to spare, then that's fine, because everything is so welcome to a rescue piggy, and will be appreciated.

If you can't manage it this year, you could always put a few pennies aside each week, and don't touch it, then by next Christmas you will have enough for Secret Santa 2012.
