My pig began rolling around and exhibited signs of what seemed like a seizure. Less than 10 minutes later, he's eating and drinking and moving around as normal. Does anyone know what could've caused this? Our vet is closed so we're worried

Please try to get a vet appointment for tomorrow or as soon as possible; clinics often have an emergency slot left free when you call them first thing.

Until then please keep your piggy as normal and calm as possible. Guinea pigs can very occasionally have epilepsy or other neurological issues, but only a vet can see whether they can work out what is exactly going on.

Thank you. We were so frightened by it. I've already left a message with the vet
