Aww, that is so sad, I'm sorry you lost a baby. I have no idea about seizures, I hope someone else can offer advice.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your baby. As this is a non-breeding forum many of the members have little or no experience of births.

The seizures could be as a result of a traumatic birth causing lack of oxygen, a congenital neurological problem, there really is no way of knowing. No one here is a vet and all the answers we could give would be just guesses.

I hope that your female and remaining babies thrive after such a sad start.

Suzy

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Sorry I dont have the knowledge to help with your problems but just wanted to say welcome and I hope your mummy pig and other babies will be okay

Seizures don't sound good and if I understand correctly the baby died?
I know it sounds hard but it's probably for the best.

My best guess would be there was something wrong with the baby, seizures can be caused by lack of air at any point during/after the birth. Heart conditions (secondary cause lack of air) of old fashionate epilepsy. Rare but guinea pigs can have it.

I would personally just watch the other pigs, but I dare to say it's proabbly not something airborn, or the other pigs should have shown ill signs and not just a baby pig just born.

Goodluck with it.

thanks alot every one
yeah is was very hard wotching it having these Seizures but now it is dead
mum was very stubid she step one one of babies and broke its leg

A healthy baby wouldn't break it's leg. If you are worried about it, take mum and the babies to see a vet. That's my best advice, because all this you are telling me, tells me the babies aren't healthy to start with.

Normally a pig only breaks it leg after a nasty fall, and even then very rarly. Pigs are more pron to get something with their musculars or nerves when they fall or get stepped on.

hi welcome, it sounds like your having a tough time,I'm helping my lovely betty at the moment shes had 5 babies and it is a worry when they are tiny so i know how you feel, I'm no expert you can just do your best, good luck I'm here if you need anything tho good luck x

Hi and welcome to you and your piggies to the forum :)
I'm really sorry to hear about the little mini dying this way :(
Suzy explained that nobody here is a vet, but many have loads of experience....all the advice you've been given is cause everyone cares so much for piggies.
Wishing you and the little ones all the very best xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Is it possible that you could call another vet for some advice ?
