Ok so I never buy ‘treats’ for my piggies, first of all they are always stuffed with bad ingredients, second they don’t need extra treats and third they never eat them anyway!
But I ended up getting these just so I could get the free shipping on their pellets order.

I’ve seen this range around and I must say the packaging make you feel that these must be all natural.
But are they? They contain wheat flour, ground locust beans and peas on top of the advertised Timothy Hay.
Any ingredients experts who can comment please? @Flutterby

@Guineautopia As far as treats go they're not too bad as long as you feed them sparingly.

I have a packet which I got to try to tempt my piggy with weight loss issues but he doesn't like them. Out of my 5 pigs only 1 will eat them though :(

Thanks. I tried them with my piggies and they all seem to like them, thought they might help tempt my new girls closer to me

My piggies go crazy for these. They will squeak and line up when I take these out (same response as when it’s veggie time). They will also dig them out from the bottom of the food bowls when I hide them. They only get 1 each once or twice a week though.

Try him on these, mine go nuts for them every time!

I use the various ones of these, they are absolutely fine as a treat. Mine love the red loops, forgot the flavour of them now!

Thanks, let’s hope my girls love them enough to come closer. They are still very timid but getting better everyday

Last I heard, "natural" doesn't have a defined meaning in marketing. To classify a vegetable as "organic", it has to be grown in specific conditions avoiding pesticides, etc. and even the soil it's grown in has to meet certain criteria. So you couldn't call a carrot "organic" unless it meets all of the specified conditions.

"Natural" is a marketing ploy used to sell a product. It means whatever you think it does! There are no standards a product has to meet in order for it to be labelled "natural". That's not to say all companies/products which use the phrase are out to mislead you, but I'd remain sceptical. ;)
