Blod says, Being Boss Queen is Hard Wurk. Today mummy said it was Too Cold to go downstairs in the playpen and we would sit in a HayBox while cage cleans happened. She said we would stay Warm and could wurk on our Hurd Skills which frankly need some wurk. She said something about Noo Frends in 2 Wheeks and we all tried wheek to see what would happen but none of us have proper wheekers, I go honk-wheeze, Theo goes chirrup-rumble, Purple goes "get off me Hatty", and Hatty goes "bitey-bite, aren't I annoying, look at my bum".
Being Queen is not all its cracked up to be sometimes, I have to put Hatty in a corner and gently menace her, tell Big Purple to stop nervously eating the walls, and encourage Theo to stop hiding from the Scary Ladies.
I had hoped for a crown and a throne and endless applause with minions flinging parsley and coriader bouquets, but Senior Management is Tuff, especially in a small box when the apple chunks run out!
I hope this Noo Frends malarky sorts things out, whatever that is, I hope it is something that bites Hatty on the bum and cheers up Theo and Big Purple!
 
Blod spent 4 happy years as Queen's Consort to rainbow bridge Boss Lady Clover, and I don't think she realised quite what the top job involved! She's very good at it, but resents the "Waking Up and Doing The Thing" aspect, she preferred it when she only had to back up whatever Clover was already doing for a few hours once the kerfuffle woke her up. Blod isn't very good at Being On Guard, she's quite a sleepy little old sploddle who likes a quiet life!
 
Oh dear Your Majesty, I do hope you're not turning into a piggie Princess Meghan! You know, being Kween (or Princess, or King for that matter) isn't like the Hollywood nonsense, sitting on thrones, bossing everypig else about, endless feasting on piles of coriander and apple and expensive hays. No, you spend a lot of time being told what to do and where to go by boring people who say they are in charge, having to smile sweetly and shake hands/paws with dull and frequently obnoxious people/pigs and put up with others criticising your beautiful fur or your management style.

However I hope your slave gets a move on and gives you back your nice spacious cage so you can go and snuggle in a warm cosy away from your unco-operative minions soon!

PS Wot's this noo friends thingy? Is it in any way related to @VickiA 's post about a trio at The Potteries being rehomed, or am I making 2+2=5 ?

Well, I can't possibly comment, but... perhaps there may be something planned! We have lost a lot of piggies over the past 14 months, going from 11 to 4... and The Potteries certainly has a whole heap of piggies... maybe natural osmosis/diffusion of piggies from a high concentration to a low concentration, might bring some extra staff for poor over-wurked Queen Blod?
Some loud wheekers would definitely be welcome, we lost our champion wheeker mad old Aunty Luna and it's awfully quiet...

He’s woken up - I can hear the noise as he’s off again!

Lovely moment this morning when Ruth was spotted licking Priscilla’s eye and Priscilla letting her :wub:
