As my boys are a bit hormonal at the moment and have been squabbling a lot I have enlisted the help of Sergeant Ratty who has been deployed to assist the situation. His duties will be to intervene in any squabbles and act as a decoy piggie. He has just been briefed on the full extent of his possible duties. (Note the nervous expression).

The boys didn't know quite what to think when they discovered him...

Otis as usual was first to investigate. Sergeant Ratty underwent a thorough sniffing of all vital areas...

Once he'd passed Otis's rigorous sniff test, Sgt Ratty then had a much less invasive welcome from Wilbur...

That's just adorable - I have a few ratties here too - very valuable additions to the boar dating service. Though I have cut off (sorry ratties) their tails, teeth and whiskers as they tend to be too tempting for the piggies to nibble.

Hehe! I've also got an ikea white rat who is always on call in any piggy bonding emergency! Luckily he hasn't had to be deployed yet, but he is still in training to ensure he works to the highest standard.
