Seth and medicine weirdness

Realised I've only been on here a few times and it's been health issues, so I thought I'd post something a bit more lighthearted.

We've been giving Seth metacam the last few days because of possible arthritis. Normally it's a battle to get medicine anywhere near him, but with this stuff he can't wait for it! Last night he ran out and started grabbing at the syringe, then after I'd given him the dose he snatched it out of my hand a ran under his shelf with it!

Has anyone else experienced a pig loving their medicine? With the way he usually behaves with it, I'm finding it bizarre

I’ve got 2 guineas on regular Metacam so am well used to the daily syringe fight

I’m so relieved they like taking this medicine

All of my piggies who have ever needed Metacam loved it.
When Eddi was on it and not Oreo I actually had to take him out of the cage to give it to him, otherwise Oreo was shoving her nose in there to get some too. She always licked around Eddi's mouth afterwards

My two love Metacam! neither is on it but both have had it for bits and bobs. Bill has often snatched the syringe and run off with it! He would definitely be happy to have it everyday, he also loves Oxbow Critical Care too and used to lick the spoon clean and Ted’s face clean too on occasion, crazy monkey!
