Since flash has gone the girls have taken to wheeking at pepper when she walks past the spare room door. This is after months of them knowing the big scarey black dog (that I have told them to never trust) is walking around the hallway and they will stay quiet and still. Now they just nag her for an extra feed

Not quite the best thing for a prey animal to do, shout at their sworn enemy (as she is an ex working lurcher for those who dont know, but is respectful enough to me to not touch them behind a stairgate). Thankfully pepper will just ignore them, with me shouting back from another room "she wont feed you either girls"

All because once I gave them their veggies, then let pepper out in the garden, felt sorry for them missing flash so grabbed a handful of grass, and now they want it everytime I open the front door, everytime they hear the dog in the hallway and just when they want to push their luck rolleyes

There is a squeaky step on my staircase and Boris who is currently living in the spare rooms lets out a massive wheek when anyone stands on it because he thinks he's being fed again! I think eating is on the mind of piggies 24/7! I'm sure Pepper could be sufficiently trained up as a piggy slave!

They try it on everytime the front door opens now and no matter what they were doing or where they were in the pen beforehand, they all gather round the glass water bottle and wheek at me for more grass Greedy girls xoxo
