Sheep is the newest edition to my little herd. Bo and Peep were both from Pets at Home (16 ish weeks old) and Sheep is from a breeder (10ish weeks old). They are all female, and I've checked myself to make sure, and I'm pretty certain although I'm definitely not an expert. Anyway, Sheep keeps mounting Bo and Peep from the back/side/front and kind of doing a funny shaky thing. Is that normal? I've never seen the other two do that to each other. Bo and Peep run away when Sheep comes up behind them, although Bo and Sheep do cuddle up together a lot and the three seem to be getting along well (only had Sheep since Wednesday).

Sheep could be displaying dominance behaviour, it's common for females to rumblestrut and hump either when they are in season or the others are in season. Everything is a bit more intense straight after a bonding anyhow. It should calm down as the hierarchy of the herd gets sorted out.

If you'd like to post a picture of her nether regions, we can confirm that Sheep is a female (more pairs of eyes are always good ).
