shia had her first helping of critical care.

she lost patience with the syringe and spoon, and dived head first into the cup it was in!

Bless her heart some of our guineas that had to be on critical care still have it once and again as a treat some guineas just love it.
 
yeah she is loving it. she is so well behaved for her medication too. i updated her other thread in general hat as she was back at the vets today
 
Adorable picture. WHat is critical care?

It seems across the sea, you have more care for pigs. Over here in the states we don't have vets that specialize too much in small animals and most people don't take their pigs to the vets. There's not lots of special stuff here for caring of the pigs. >:( That's it I'm coming over!
 
critical care is a food that you can syringe feed to piggies who are ill/not eating properly etc and it has lots of good stuff in it :)

we don't have critical care in south oz either but we put some pellets through food processor and preboil some water and mix togther and add 1-2 teaspoons of baby food puree-usually sweetcorn, mix together until a paste to go through a syringe or on a spoon. check out my pictures of here is zoe and jessie.
