Sorry to post another thread like this but I have looked everywhere and I can find any shops that sell C&C grids.

Any suggestions? I don't want to spend a fortune either :(

If you can manage a trip to Peterborough there's a JTF Warehouse there that sells wire mesh storage cubes in silver or pink for £8-9 for 13 grids. Check the very top shelf though as JTF tend to put them way up at the top!

I bought mine here,
i bought two packs and made a 2x4 C&C a 1x2 loft and it's one grid high of the floor with a few shelves and things in for storage etc. plus had more grids left over (:

i have also brought from amazon £17.99 each set, this is due for delivery tomorrow,
only ordered it on thursday but missed delivery on friday,

Thanks for all your suggestions guys :)

I keep ringing the JTF warehouse in Peterborough but they never have any unless they just dont look.

Have you seen any in there lately?

Itching to make my piggies a big home :)

There is someone selling a lot of the c+c grids and connectors on preloved. They are in wolverhampton. If i post the link it gets removed so you will have to search for yourself for the advert ! (reproduced below)

I have lots of c&c grids and connectors to shift. A little rusty in areas but generally ok and fine to use.
The c&c grid system is a very versatile and easy way to custom-build cages, enclosures and runs for Guinea pigs and rabbits.
Collection preferred as they can get pretty heavy.
£1 per grid / 25p per connector.

Mmmm they are called "Homemaker Lifestyle mesh storage cubes" get them to stick that in their search on their computer lol :)) They did have them stacked right at the very top of their display, so no-one could reach them unless they have the huge ladder to hand rolleyes

Just a word of warning, be careful with the mesh grids. Two of my pigs got their nails stuck in it by standing up against the side resulting in them pulling their nails off. Suppose it would be ok if the coroplast reaches high enough, just be aware of that :)

I bought mine from an online site called wayfair.com
They came in a pack of 20 black grids - and they work wonderfully to make a big piggy house. I find their new cage just as easy to clean - probably easier and even though it is larger than their previous one, it only takes about 5 minutes longer to clean.

The only downside for me is that one of my pigs is really hard to pick up and runs right round the whole cage making it really difficult to catch her! :)

A very good point, my correx is 6 inches high & I use the Screwfix grids where the mesh is not as fine as the JTF ones, but I can see how they could get their nails caught in them. The normal grids are also risky with baby pigs as they can get their heads caught in the squares, so higher correx is needed or they need doubling up if you have youngsters.
