Should i get another guinea pig?

Yesterday I lost my little guinea pig bubbles and through the grief I have been extremely worried about his brother thomas that he left behind. I am extremely scared that he will become lonely as he has been with bubbles since he was born. He is just a year old and I was going to see an exotic specialist. I'm just wondering if anyone can share some kind of advice about this kind of thing and whether it's best he gets a new buddy. Thank you X

It will be best for him to have a new buddy. If you have a look at our rescue locator in the top bar these are all fantastic rescues that offer boar dating so you can take Thomas along to pick his own friend which means you should have a more stable bond
