Shout out for lovely boars

Hello lovely Oscar. I’ve only ever had boars. They are fab 😍

I ask as Micah is about 4.5 years old now and showing no signs of being anything other than a thug.
Gotta love a boar. Especially a thuggy boar. He can have a home here. You could always bring him down in January. Ruth can come too as she really shouldn't be left on her own.

When are boars old enough to be mellow and chilled ?

He is still absolutely gorgeous though.
I think they're just a bit dim and don't consider the consequences of their actions, such as sitting on a fleecy tunnel when their wife is inside it. It's all that testosterone.

Aww I love all the cute boar pics! I have 4 girls but also 2 boars & I love my boys!
One of them is definitely the more timid, calm one...the other is boisterous & full of testosterone lol. They're both a year & a half old!
They get along really well but Patches definitely is the dominant one lol. Powder is so calm & laidback.

This is Powder (the more timid one):

Gorgeous photos

I have always had both boars and sows, and the only aggression problem I ever had was with sows. I had a bought in mother and daughter pair, and soon found out why they were unloved, they flatly refused to associate with anyone else, ever! They had to live alone until the mother eventually passed, and then the daughter happily moved in with other sows, so it was the mother all along!
The boars do smell more though, not as much as male mice, but certainly very noticeable, especially as they get older. I had a trio of nearly nines, now sadly down to a pair, but they are def the smelliest of them all!
