Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I need help with a sick Bunny I've been fostering.

Blackie went to the vet about 3 weeks ago, very small dry poop, not eating that well. Went to vet was started on Metacam, Metoclopramine, Gas X, Sub Q fluids, Penicillin, and Critical Care. After about 1.5 weeks doing that he was back to having almost normal like poop, eating and drinking on his own, and was penciled in this past Friday to be neutered to finally go to his adoptive home.

Now he's not pooping again, he'll eat if I sit with him and shove veggies close to him. But now he's got this.. foam coming out of his penis. He also was found to have fleas when he went to the vet and we were going to dewormer him in case it's a parasite causing the GI stasis but didn't want to proceed without knowing what this new hurdle is.
 
Oh dear poor bunny. I am sorry, but I find I never have any luck with rabbits. Every one I have had bar one or maybe two, have had something wrong with them that has caused their early demise. Where with piggies I have never had a problem.
@BossHogg has kept rabbits for years, I wonder if he can help?
 
Hi, sorry to hear your bun is not well. Sounds like he is going back in to stasis again so he will need vet treatment urgently. It could be a bladder infection/pain causing the stasis & possibly his diet. Try to encourage him to eat hay, grass & plants, as veg will cause more gas. If you go to the Rabbits united forum you will find lots of information& help there, & there is also a diet section for stasis prone bunnies.
 
I was going to mention the rabbit forum too, there's a hive of information on there. I've been extremely lucky, I've never had a sick rabbit. Rusty was PTS after breaking a leg and it wouldn't heal. :(

You must have all the good luck in looking after your rabbits, where I have had all the bad luck! My longest lived rabbit cost 0.50p from Derby cattle market. The £40 one lasted a year!
 
Most of my rabbits were rescues. Rusty was 6, she was given to us by a friend. Betty was bought from a pet shop, she's 6, Mary is 3, Ringo was 9, Blackie was 8, Snowy was 8. A lot of the rabbits I rehomed, were all healthy and lived to good ages. ;)
 
bladder issues could be causing pain and stopping him from eating and therefore going into stasis. the 'foam' sounds like it could be bladder sludge. very painful so best get back to the vets asap. good luck x
