signs of piggie illnesses

as many of u know guinea pigs could be ill for weeks but not show any signs which is normal. These are some ways that u can tell: they are keeping themselves well away from the rest of the group, they are not eating as much, they have lumps or bumps on them,they have a runny nose and if they are young piggies( which are moving and playing a lot )aren't their usual selves. i hope you find this helpful if you have any problems the makensure to let me know. bye for now.:lol::lol:

When they get to this point then they have usually been ill for quite a while. As they're a prey animal they hide illness well, and something is seriously wrong when they get to this point.

You need to weigh them regularly as weight loss is the sign of illness. Also, monitor their eating as changes in habits can be a sign of illness too,
