Does anybody know how fast guinea pigs can run?

Fugly is a very fast runner and when he really gets running it sounds like he has 6 legs instead of 4, has anyone else noticed "extra piggy legs" ?

i couldn't tell you. but i know mine run really fast. it's hard to catch them sometimes. xx

Look at it that way.....in the wild they need to out-run and out-smart their predators, which is a natural instinct and it's still in the piggies, so I guess they can run quite fast if they have to. Our piggies are difficult to catch when they have their run outside, so I guess yours is just loving the "exercise".
