Silly piggy Token got his head stuck the house window!
I was just cleaning out cages and I had kept Benji in the small cage for a few weeks because he doesn't get on with the other more dominant boar, Snoopy (basically they would kill each other if I put them together!), and I had gotten him neutered 3 wks ago. I thought it would be nice for him to be in the big cage with the 3 other smaller boars and Snoopy in the other. Benji is generally not the most pleasant piggy as he constantly wants to dominate and hump everyone most of the time and they all get annoyed of him. Anyhows, he was doing his (humping & annoying) thing whilst I was cleaning the other cage and then I noticed that he was just annoying Cappucino, the smaller boar, a little too much as he was screaming and moved the house so he could run behind it (which has never happened before!).
I decided Benji doesn't appreciate my kindness and doesn't want to play nice so I switched Benji & Snoopy again but then saw that stupid Token had gotten his head stuck in the too-small-for-any-of-their-heads window lol I I tried to pull his head out but I realised it wouldn't work, then soaped him a little in the sink to try and ease him out - obviously he is not a human and will just wriggle and scream so that didnot work. In the end I had to cut the plywood with a saw with him wrapped in a towel so it wouldn't cut him. Just as well I am having my bathroom renovated and the builder left all his stuff here, it was a right bitch to cut! Naughty silly little piggy! He was really quiet and hopefully feeling a little ashamed after his escapade. I will glue the side back together and ask the builder to make the hole bigger so it doesn't happen again. I think he might have been trying to escape from Benji trying to hump him and wasn't too clever in finding the exit. He's a very lucky little piggy as if it happened when I was asleep then he might have strangled himself.
