I was sat watching the tv this morning when I suddenly heard a bang. I looked outside and realised that a bird had flew in to our patio doors I picked the bird up and it was obvious he had broken his neck. The bird soon died and it was most upsetting

Aw, it’s so sad when birds do that, we had a beautiful Male bullfinch do that last year, he broke this neck too

Poor thing A sparrow flew into the patio door a while ago luckily it recovered and flew after sitting looking stunned for a bit.

Poor little bird

We once had a pigeon fly into a velux roof window in our old house. It survived but left the mark of its visit on the window until the windowcleaner's next visit.

Some people put stickers (sometimes of birds of prey) on patio doors to stop small birds flying into them.
