Our lovely Boris has left us at 5 years old. Seems my older boys are following each other to the bridge this year….

He started to lose weight quite rapidly yet the vets couldn’t quite pin point why. He then started to lose mobility in all 4 legs. Vets suspected cancer somewhere. We tried various medications and supplements as advised (exploratory tests or even surgery would not have been an option for him with his age and health deterioration), but he peacefully slipped away at home, with his buddies nearby (Rufus and Merlin). He looked like he was asleep, curled peacefully in a hay nest that he had made

Boris came to us with his brother Jacob when I convinced a family member to let them live with us, in a bigger environment than what they had.
He was such a lovely boy. Nervous at first, but soon came out of his shell and would be climbing into my lap at any opportunity. When he lost his brother, he moved in with Thor, Rufus, and Merlin. I had a happy boar herd ever since. He had lots of hair to maintain, but was a stunner with his long locks

We will miss you and your loving personality. We know you will be reunited with Jacob now. Sleep tight our beautiful boy 🌈💙

I am so, so sorry that you have lost yet another of your old boys. It can be so draining when your losses come in too quick succession to fully digest one death before the next one happens.

Boris is back at the Bridge, reunited with his best friend Jacob after having the happiest of lives at your home and living to a good age and being able to make his journey from his familiar surroundings, carried on the wings of your and his mates' love and care.
 
I’m sorry Boris has travelled to RB - when you ‘rescued ‘ Boris and Jacob I think you saved them, quality of life, better food, care and love …..all a piggy needs - popcorn freely at RB Boris reunited with Jacob ❤️❤️

I am sorry Boris had to leave you and send hugs to you and the piggies he left behind. The rainbow bridge is very busy this week, sadly. Treasure the happy memories as you grieve.
