I am having to bath sparkles everyday at the moment as her fur is always smelly and wet.
She wees and poos in her bed and then just lies in it everytime i get her out its always wet and poo underneath her.
Is there anyway to get her to use another part of her cage for the toilet?
also will it harm her fur if she is bathed to often?
She has long hair but not the drag along the floor kind.

You can buy pet wipes or just use a bit of warm water. Bathing her daily will strip her hair of natural oils ?/
Have you tried putting a small piece of vet bed in her sleeping areas, it wicks wee away so piggies aren't lying in wet spots.

If she is always lying in her wee and poo she may actually have a urine infection or be unwell. I would recommend taking her to the vet to have her checked over. Have you thought about having vet bed as bedding? That will help to stop her from getting urine scald.

Thankyou i will get some vet bed have also made a vet appointment to have her checked over.

Got the vet bed and went to the vets all seems fine waiting for some results tho.
Vet don't think there is anything wrong and also said about the vet bed and maybe trimming her fur round the back of her as thats where its always wet.

Is she a long haired piggy? It is a good idea to have that hair short around her bottom. I really hope the results come back okay.

My Cupcake is a blonde long hair and from the back she looks like the setting sun when she gets manky. she gets her bum trimmed to a fairly short length about four times a year to stop her being permenantly wet and whiffy. It also helps to prevent any bacteria or infection setting in.

Yes she is long haired she has now had a hair cut and is looking much better. Thankyou for all the advice.
