Sneezing

Hello all,

My two new guinea pigs, Wesley and Fraser, have both sneezed a couple of times today- Fraser was particularly loud!. They're in a C&C cage with fleeces on the bottom that get washed every day and their hay is dust extracted. They don't have runny noses or eyes. Could it be an allergy to the washing detergent? Anyone else any suggestions of the best detergent to use? They certainly aren't subdued.

any advice welcome as I'm a new guinea pig owner and don't know their little habits yet.

Most piggies sneeze when they clean themselves to clear their noses. I would not worry about a couple of sneezes in a day. I would only start going on alert if it is more than the occasional fit when they have stuck their nose too deep into something they shouldn't.

I use non-bio for washing fleece.
