Snuggle sac from ebay the boys love um !

Hi,
I've been buying again, this time from ebay. Snuggle sac for £3.95, Rory went in his right off and I can't get him out of it. Alex didn't really get it and ended up underneath his but got up this morning and both of them where all snug and happy. It was great for me too as I didn't have to chase them round the hutch to catch them, only had them for 2 weeks and now it much less of a fuss at cuddle time.:) The lady I got the sac's off was really helpful and postage was less the more you buy. Her ebay name is Cosy_Cavies if you fancy a look. She said she had only been making them for 28 days and has already sold 90! They are all made from Guinea friendly material and can be washed, which is good news as I might have to buy some more for when these need washing !

oh wow they look really snuggly for piggies! i am tempted to get one! hehe :))
looks like your piggies appreciate it, my pigs on the other hand would probably just eat it and shove it out the way, like they do with stuff in their way rolleyes

I bought some of these! They are great but my Guinea must be a bit crazy as they don't go in them, they just sit on them! Although my 10 week ols sow Daffodil loves it!
 
I believe the lady is going to make some snuggle cups so will be looking out for those, also asked her is she could make covers for the snuggle heat pad as I know I will need some soon as it's getting colder :)p

I want to buy one of the snuggle sacks that have the entrance made stronger - some are with wire which is not recommended, but some are just double or tripple rolled with strong fleece in the rim.

Because I found that ordinary sleep sacks do not stay open enough, so my piggies dont get the fact that they can go INTO them - instead they just lay on top of them, using them as a cushion... rolleyes
 
I am extremely tempted to get one for Herbie, but I am really concerned that he will pee in it, and then mums adamant that they are not going in the washing machine.

can you hand-wash them? Id love to get one in tartan drooldrool
 
yes you can hand wash them, thats not a problem but probably better in the washing machine - the fleecing is polar fleece - what our clothes are sometimes made from - i cannot see it causing any problems as long as you remove the hay/sawdust/fluff from them - if not put them in a pillow case!

I've washed mine twice now and they are fine, you could hand wash them but I just turn them inside out give them a good shake and pop them in the machine, good as new, nothing seams to stick to them:))
 
Oh had a quick look and the lady has about 5 different ones listed, I'm sure if you emailed her she would be able to tell you if she could do any in tartan.-c
 
My 4 arrived but none of my piggies will go in them rolleyesrolleyes they are choosing to lie on top of them.. My Zac is very very furry so he struggles to get into them, I've given him a good trim tonight so he might try fitting in his now :))

Out of my 20 Guines...only 2 will go in them! The rest sit on top and wee on them! rolleyes
