I've just bought 2 snugglesafes, one for the guinea-pigs and one for the rabbits. They arrived today but I'm not sure when to give one to the guinea-pigs. They are still living outside, but in a week or two they'll be moving into an unheated shed. I don't want to give it to them too early so they get used to it being warm and won't be able to cope as well in the shed when it gets colder. When should I give them the snugglesafe?

I think once the temperature drops to say below 10 degrees over night all the time, start to give them the snugglesafe. My girls have had their snugglesafes from about November time over the winter for the last 4 years xx

Hi, I echo what Claire says really. My two live outside but will be coming inside in a few weeks (once cage is built) as we no longer have a garden shed.

They have fleece beds and I have just started putting snugglesafe heat pads inside.

Once it starts getting to around ten degrees or less then I use my snuggle pads so I would say start using them now and then carry on with them they move into the shed.
