...... the sides are about 3 inches high. Haven't got the piggies yet. Can they get over something that high or do I need to cut a little opening in it? ?/
 
Mine can jump up about half a foot so I'd say you'll be ok? Maybe just put in a little ramp til they get the hang of it?
 
I think they shold be fine, but for the first few days it might be worth making a wee platform step out of something like folded up Fiddlesticks so they can have a good look before they leap :))
 
I'm a wizz with a hack saw! If the ramp or platform doesn't please them, I'll soon fix it! Just wasn't sure how high they can jump!
 
Mine used to jump about 5 inches when they were younger to get on top of their house and they managed that no bother at all :))
