Sadly my lovely ginger boy passed away through the night last night. At only two years old it was quite a shock. He lived a happy life in a big cage and I have no idea what happened. He seemed a little less active the last two days and after I cleaned them out last night I gave him his favourite cucumber and he munched away quite happily. His poo's were smaller than usual overnight. I have no idea what happened to him. He seemed very peaceful though and was lying out quite the thing like he does most evening.
Its so sad he left me at such a young age, I will miss him loads :( and cant help thinking I did something wrong.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is so sad he was taken away from you at such a young age. This is just one of those tragic incidents. You must not blame yourself in anyway. You loved him and he would have known that.

So very sorry for the loss of your piggie.

RIP Little one

I am so sorry that your little boy has left you so soon!

Hi Hazel.

Just to let you know that I am thinking of you. Losing a pet is horrible, especially when it is totally unexpected.

Just remember that you gave him a lovely life. I understand that what anyone says to you it wont really matter at the moment, but I would be exactly the same as you and would be wondering what I had done wrong etc. Hope you can take comfort in the fact that we will all be able to relate to what you are going through and we are all in this together.

It's great that all us piggy owners take time to share our stories and help each other.

x
