Yeah So I like to sleep in on weekends till like 9 or 10.. But nope! not nemore.. Lil buddy is unhappy if hes not fed between 7:00-8:00.. that is his normal breakfast hour.. If it gets past 8:00 he is screaming at me and running around causing messes! Lil buger! So i had to get up and feed him and by then it was too hard for me to pass back out! I guess he owns me now
 
Wait until you have kids, I've heard they get you up as early as 6 am! Welcome to the world of being owned by the guinea pig ;) You might find, he'll occasionally try it on too, to see if he can get treats in between LOL!
 
Mine always wake me at about 8 for their food. Its worse now I have my little boy as the girls just used to chatter, but that sets him off and he starts wheeking his little head off! rolleyes
 
I have trained my kids not to wake me till 8am at weekends, and guinea pigs get fed after the kids. The pecking order for breakfasts is kids, animals, me!
 
mine all wheep when its 6am as they usually get fed at this time on a week day,they just dont understand the concept of a week end lie in rolleyes and the more i hide my head under the pillow the louder they wheep until i relent and get up!ive trained my kids not to get up early on weekends but theres no training the piggies :))
 
I refuse to feed mine at set times so they do not beg for food at unearthly times of the day!
 
Feeding times vary here too, they have ab-lib nuggets nd constant supply of hay, veg comes at night before we go to bed :)
 
I am lucky at the weekends as my partner gets up early anyway so he feeds them. It always surprises me though that when he does a late shift and gets in at 2 in the morning they don't start wheeking at him then.
