So today I introduced my two sows. Sophie and Nibbles. I noticed today how much bigger nibbles is compared to Sophie. I'm wondering that she might be pregnant... How can I tell this other then weight? Any information would be awesome. I'll always leave a picture here of Nibbles.

Hello, I don't know very much about piggy pregnancies, but I'm pretty sure that it's hard to tell if they're pregnant or not until closer to the end of a pregnancy (assuming she is preg). Sometimes you can hear teeth grinding noises around her belly, and if you know how to tell, you can kind of feel if her pelvic bones are separated Take a tour around the pregnancy section; there are some interesting and useful info, and the more experienced members in pregnancy monitor it more. Is there a reason why you would suspect possible pregnancy? Did she come from a pet store where improper sexing is unfortunately too common? Any way she could have been in contact with a boar at all? Just incase be extra gentle when handling her, especially around her belly. Good luck. Sorry I wasn't more helpful

The reason I think she is because she is much larger especially around the belly area and when I got her from a previous owner she was pregnant before and was around a boy guinea :(

If you are worried about a pregnancy, please open a thread for her in our pregnancy section. The more background you can give, the better we can evaluate, try to establish a timeline and support you over the next few weeks. Age, background, how long you have had her etc. Please keep any questions and updates to that one thread so we have got all the information together and can always refer back.

We have got detailed pregnancy and pregnancy diet guides at the top of our pregnancy section, which have been specifically written for newbies with dealing with an unplanned pregnancy and which will hopefully answer many of your questions. Any remaining or new ones, you can ask in your thread in the pregnancy section.
