I’d really appreciate any feedback you might have on this: I adopted two piggies two days ago and discovered I’m deathly allergic to hay (ie bad asthma). I switched to orchard grass with no luck. I’m an avid horseback rider and know it’s not uncommon for horses to have their hay soaked in water before eating to reduce dust and small particles going into the lungs. I thought this might be a solution fir my situation, as it will prevent the tiny bits of hay from floating around my home (also potentially better for the pigs, as there’s less dust). Does anyone know of any reasons not to provide hay that’s been soaked and well-squeezed to piggies?

I wouldn't give wet hay. I don't think they'd eat it to be honest. You need to look for dust free hay. Have you tried other brands? Meadow, timothy etc?
