Soaked In Urine - Thank You Mollie

Mollie has had blood in her urine for some time now and I've had to become adept at getting urine samples from her and then dipping them for blood.

This evening, after a very long and trying day at work, I came home to get a sample from my least cooperative ASBO pig. So I plonked her in the usual box on an upturned puppy pad, plied her with her favourite watery veg and her favourite stool to sit underneath. She scoffed all the goodies, then rampaged around like a thing possessed, and started to try to shred the puppy pad. I went to pick her up to calm her down and she was so cross with me she literally sprayed me with urine. Monster.
 
I think it is a beautiful display of how much she appreciates your attention and concern for her welfare - what a sweetie :))

I am off to work hungry as was syringe feeding instead of having breakfast, splodges of green syringe food on my work top and hay in my hair.... Our lives and clothes are not our own!

I wear an apron when syringe feeding to speed up getting out of the house on time, but many's the time I have turned up at work with Critical care splodges that have missed the edge of the apron and found their way onto my clothes. That stuff gets everywhere. I can recommend keeping a large a large decorative scarf to cover up the splodges!
 
Little monkey! That's some way to repay you for looking after her! Glad she's in the clear today x
