Zambi has had soft poop for the last 2 weeks.

Nothing has changed in himself, he's still maintaining his fatness (he's over 1000gs), he's eating, running about, cleaning himself, drinking, eating hay.

I stopped giving him veg the day after I found out he had soft poop and it's been two weeks almost since he had any but because I have worried about his 'vits' I've given him some curly kail today... I have syringe feed him pro-biotics from Pets at home for the past week but no change in his soft poop.

It's like little cow pats, not diarrhoea but not solid form and his backside usually had poop on it which we wipe off every time we check up on him... I'm going to bath him today as it seems to be messing up his sense patch a bit. We cleaned his penis a few days ago because it had a thick layer of hard white stuff, thats clean but I don't know what else to do...

Vets is being booked for the next two days, just looking at times my partner can get off work in the morning.

Should I really worry or is he okay since nothing has changed but his poop? You wouldn't know anything was wrong until you picked him up and noticed his backside.

He's somewhere around the 3.5 mark, I'm not 100% sure. He's one of the oldest pigs we have and the others are 2years 8ish months.
I know impaction would be best other than an illness, but he's such a violent pig when put on his back I'm a little bit scared it's impaction lol... However, when we've looked into his bum, the poop is only on the outer bit (about to come out) inside is mainly clean.

Yeah, he's eating everything you give him.
The poop is wet yes, it looks wetter if it's on the opening because he's a peer (pees alot) but isn't as wet as diarrhoea is normally.

Have you thought about giving him a probiotic for a few days to see if this makes a difference? Also cutting out wet veg (like cucumber/lettuce) may also help. but if in any doubt, always speak to/see a vet.

He's had no veg for 2 weeks and probiotics for 1 week.

Post vet visit.

Zambi has a lump in his abdomen. The vet thinks we won't be able to do anything about it, but she's going to shave his side and do an ultrasound today, if it turns out to be a lump, I've opt not to operate and whilst he's happy and well. She mentioned that if the op didn't go well or she couldn't do anything, she would just put him to sleep on the table and I can't have that. I just can't, theres nothing wrong with him apart from the soft poop and it doesn't seem to bother him so as long as he's alert, happy, eating and drinking I don't see the point in taking his life from him.

It's a shame it's not a simple fix though :(

I'm not sure he's going to last much longer, he's lost a lot of weight but is eating steadily, he doesn't seem too interested in anything but sleeping and eating atm, diarrhoea all the time, we have to bath his bum every day... should I make the decision to put him to sleep or not... i really don't know, the vet said it's best when he goes off his food but he seems miserable unless eating. (lol like me on my 'bad' days).

So sorry to hear this, unfortunately I have no advice, hope Zambi is a bit more comfortable tonight

I rang vet, she thinks its time but due to how far away it is I *** get there till saturday, ive ordered pain relief as he's uncomfortable. He weighs 1000gs but is all bone so the mass is huge. It feels like play dough, the way if you press it, it just stays there... :/ poor zambi-bum.
