Softest hay

Hello members of the TGPF! I just wanted to ask what hay is the softest in your opinion! And what is the best hay to get (Timothy please!)

I’d say meadow. I found it too...fluffy? Can’t think what the word is! It smelt absolutely delicious (yes I always smell hay). I buy soft timothy and that’s pretty soft.

I buy meadow hay fresh from the farm. 2020's crop is great. Lovely and soft and my piggies love it! At 6 quid for a farm bale a complete bargain too!

Meadow hay is soft. I buy natures own meadow hay and have no complaints from my two

I get my hay from Haybox. They have meadow hay as it’s the softest for bedding and they are preferring to eat meadow instead of Timothy lately. They have been finding the timothy too stalky and they only eat the seed heads and leave the stem so I’m sticking just to meadow now.

Mine don't touch Timothy for some reason and will only eat orchard if there's nothing else but would much rather chew the correx in disgust. Meadow is the softest I've found and a good all-round hay because of this. I get mine from haybox

I get meadow hay from haybox. It's soft an green and good for burrowing in.

I get ings hay from hay and straw. 9.5 kg for 18.00 pounds. It is very soft and all my guinea pigs and rabbits like it.
