Okay Orson fans have been asking for some pics of him so here are some along with some photos of my other piggy's and my first ever home made guinea bed (not the last!) - don't look too closely at the seams as they are shocking and it went a bit wrong but it's not too bad.

Okay the cosy bed

It was supposed to have a lion face in the middle as the bottom bit but I did it wrong and it ended up underneath!

It's all a bit wonky but it got the seal of approval

I think I may be hooked on this, I need to get it just right and have alot of willing testers around here.

Oh wow hasn't Orson grown! x)

The bed is great, the pigs seem to love it so thats the main thing. :)

Aww look at those gorgeous piggys, they are all so beautiful x)

Can't quite believe how big Dotty has grown :o They are all just lovely though

Ah, I missed your piggies. They were very overdue! Orson is so big now!

Orson looks like a big snuggly boy! Loving the bed you made, the stitching detail looks really good and the fleece was a great choice. I can't get over how big Dottie is getting!
 
I'd love to make tunnels but what to use as stiffners in the openings? Anyone know?
 
Oh my your piggies are gorgeous and that bed is great. I recognise that fleece haha
 
Lovely pics, and it's great to catch up - with your own piggies again! Especially the fast growing ones!

It's addictive making things for the piggies. I bought a sewing machine just for them because it was taking me so long to make them by hand.
I had to get more piggies I'd made so much!

I haven't made a tunnel yet but I made some cozies with extra thick wadding and they stay open really well so I think that might help with the tunnels.
I must put some photos on of my creations!
 
Orson is divine, as is Flopsy and Charlie and Dotty. x)

Well done on the cosy bed too, you did a brilliant job with it.
 
Just having another peek at your cosy for a bit of inspiration and oh my gosh hasn't Dotty grown?!

What did you use for wadding? I'm on the verge of a fleece splurge I feel xx>>> I want an African themed cage set.
 
Yes I was thinking the same. I may use the light tent with them and try and get some nice portrait type shots. Not today though!

Kim I bought 2mm wadding from ebay. It's just about right

Wow I can't believe how big Orson is either & how much Dotty looks like her brothers x)

This site has instructions http://www.spikeskleinewelt.de/Kuschelrolle.html if you paste the link into Google it will come up with the option to translate it.

I can't say how good they because I haven't tried to make one :red
