Reassure me that guinea pigs can't get fleas!?
I know Ive posted on here before about this but I'm going mental, I've used the nit comb thing on him and there's nothing there!
He gets his second dose of Xeno tomora cause he's still itching, I've tried him on fleece and he's still itching with that so he's back on sawdust!

Piggies dont get fleas like other animals, they can get lice, (which can be seen with the naked eye) They can also get mites (invisible to the naked eye but VERY itchy) The treatment you have is correct for both of those problems.

Other problems that can cause itchy skin include fungal (often involving hair loss and flaky skin)

Or ring worm ( please google this for signs as ive never experienced it myself) and unfortunatly humans AND other animals can catch ringworm.

Just thought that i'd say that piggies CAN have fleas, usually cat fleas, but they are pretty easy to see. I have seen them on rescue pigs, normally ones that have come from 'less than clean' conditions, kept with other small animals.

If your piggie had fleas it would be very obvious, so i would think that if he still is very itchy it is something like fungal or mites.

Maybe email Gorgeous Guineas and ask if they can recommend anything if you think it might be fungal? I was very impressed with the Kwench lotion I got for Rocket's ears ( which looked like they had fungal bloom on them and he'd scratched them ), they cleared up in a couple of days ( also gave them all a GG bath).
