Two days ago, I noticed that our male skinny pig has something coming out of his bum. It looks like it’s similar to hemorrhoids. It was gone yesterday, then today after work, I noticed it was back. He is eating normally, POSSIBLY not drinking as much as usual, and behaving normally. Any idea what the issue is before I go to the vet? Thank you everyone!

Have you checked whether it is his penis poking out ('cauliflower willie') or whether it is coming from his anal sac (potential impaction).

Thank you. Do I need to worry if his penis is coming out like that? He’s over a year old, and it hasn’t before. Thanks again!
Please read the information and see a vet if you are in any way worried. Cauliflower willie is not reversible; it is just what some boars develop; they need a bit extra care and attention in that area from thereon in, as detailed in the boar care guide.
Thank you so much for your help! I really do appreciate it! Another question: He doesn’t seem to be drinking much (I don’t hear the clink of his water bottle, and the amount hasn’t really decreased in a day). So I washed the greens I fed him this am, and made sure they stayed wet. I also fed him other veggies. I’ve syringe fed him water last night and this am. He doesn’t want it, I just feed it to him like medicine. When do I worry about his water consumption? Thank you again!
