We took a group of 9 badly neglected guineas in 4 weeks ago.
The owner had mental health issues and had been told to contact us by the RSPCA.
There was 6 boars living as a group and 3 sows also living as a group although she did admit they had been in with the boars :(

All of the piggies had problems with mites, being under nourished and the start of scurvy, due to being fed on rabbit pellets, potatoes and dog kibble. mallethead Well I'm happy to say that they are improving daily and are now all doing well.

On Wednesday I opened the hutch to find these

Isn't she a clever girl. Sadly one of the young sows she came in with also feels pregnant so there's likely to be more in a few weeks time.

I'm already full to bursting but so pleased that despite there bad start she's managed to give birth to healthy piggies and that in a couple of months she can be neutered and of to her new home never having to have another litter.

I'm so pleased they are now with you and receiving the care they deserve! The mini pigs are gorgeous, hope they all find their forever homes soon!

aww theyre so cute x) i love looking at baby pigs oh and i like your avatar :)

What a little cutie and what a horrid way to live. Thank goodness she's being cared for and will never have to go through it again. What gorgeous little piggies she's produced though, do we have names?
x

glad to hear all the piggies are doing well and that the babies arrived safely, fingers crossed for another very safe birth and for some lovely forever homes to come forward.

Well done, mum! So great that everything has gone well for you and you pups.

I hope that the other girl will also be OK; the longer she is with you on good food and with good care, the better the chances.

Methinks I have to suggest to hub that we make a little trip to Rugby soon to meet the pupsters! x)

Oh what lovely little babies! I am so relieved all the piggies are now with you and will be well cared for.

Aww they are absolutely goregous Tracy! I will definitely have to call in and see them when I am over visiting Ellie. People will be saying so are you off to visit the baby (meaning Nathan) and I will be saying, I am off to visit lots of babies!:)) All very cute! xx

I'm so glad the pregnancy went well even after a terrible start.

Here's to new beginnings for all the rescue Piggies.

Beautiful Mini-pigs x) Pleased they are safe with you now.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

I hope I've made their lives better for them and of course we'll make sure that they get homes that will cherish them once they are old enough to go.

Now just a waiting game to see what the next one produces and to keep my fingers crossed that the last one isn't pregnant. rolleyes

I hope that all goes well for your other girls!

Oh what an amazing little girl to have lived those horrid conditions and then to be able to produce 4 booooooooootiful little babies x)x)x)x)

I'm so glad she has come to your rescue and that she'll find a loving forever home in the near future XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
