This morning i noticed Nibbles was holding her head to one ide a bit.
I got her out and had a look at her ears and they are fine no dicharge/blood. When i touched her in behind the ear he moved it to the side again.

She is still eating, drinking and do not seem into much pain, it seems to be more of an irritent than anything.

Any advise/ideas:...?

Could it be an inner ear infection or something? Thats the only thing I can think of. Hope someone else comes along with more helpful information for you :))

It certainly sounds like an ear infection - you need to move fast as they are extremely painful and the piggie can stop eating because of it. Antibiotics and painrelief asap from the vet please!

Ear infection or ear mites can be to blame for the symptoms you've mentioned. Can you tell if the folds of the ear looks dirty/waxy?

I agree a trip to the vet is a good idea.

Laura, her ears seem clean, no dirt or wax.

I have managed to get her into vets tomorrow morning!

Ooh a Sunday appointment, got to love vets that do weekend appointments!

An ear infection is probably more likely then. Dirty/waxy ears would point more towards mites. As Suzy said, expect antibiotics and discuss an anti-inflammatory (painkiller) with the vet (if infected, inflammation and pain will be present).

Been watching her over the day and she dosn't seem to be tilting her head as much as this morning. Will still take her in though to get checked out!

Also i have som baytril left from Flash, is it worth giving her some of that to help or just wating till tomorrow?

I would wait until tomorrow them, especially as there has been a bit of improvement. However if her condition worsens e.g. the head tilt becomes fairly severe, then I would phone the vet and ask their advice on starting the Baytril tonight. It shouldn't come to that though, unlikely to get to that stage before your appointment tomorrow. :)

Cheers Laura, will just keep an eye on her!
Its like she knows she is booked into the vets tomorrow so starts to get better.mallethead I'm sure they must have a 6th sense.
